Lombok is surfing heaven! Many spots are within a 10-15′ drive from FabuLous, then a quick boat ride (or paddle out) and you are ready for action. As easy as that.
- Gerupuk: (year round) With 5 surf breaks, there is something for everyone. A fairly exposed reef break provides lefts and rights that works often and year-round. You will need a boat to access the spots (Gerupuk Inside, Gerupuk Outside Left, Gerupuk Outside Right, Don Don, Kids Point).
- Tanjung Aan: (year round) an exposed reef creates mainly a right wave that is relatively unaffected by the tide. Surf with a breathtaking view of the large, protected bay and the long white sand beach. Starting point is Dinas Warung, from where you can take the short boat ride to the wave and paddle back when you are finished.
- Seger: A fun left working during low tide and an intermediate/advanced right hander. This spot is wind sensitive. Watch out for the reef. It is mainly a local surfers spot, which doesn’t mean that you are not welcome, on the contrary, talk to them and ask about the spot.
